Privacy Policy

Account information: your name and email address, provided when you sign up. Authentication is handled by Clerk; we never see or store your password.

Learning data: course enrollment, module progress, scenario decisions and confidence scores, challenge and game scores, diagnostic results, notes, and certificates you earn. This is the core of the product — your calibration record is built from it.

Payment information: if you purchase a premium subscription, payment is processed entirely by Stripe. We store only your subscription status and Stripe customer reference — never card numbers.

Usage data: standard server logs and aggregate analytics used to keep the platform running and improve it.

To deliver the product: track your progress, score your decisions, issue certificates, and power features like the review queue and performance analytics.

To communicate with you: a welcome email when you join, a notification when a certificate is issued, and (for premium users who opt in) AI-generated check-ins. We do not send marketing email to students.

To evaluate your work: free-text responses in scenarios, challenges, and interview practice are sent to Anthropic’s Claude API for evaluation. Anthropic does not train models on this data under our API terms.

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers. Ever.

Clerk (authentication), Supabase (database and file storage), Stripe (payments), Resend (transactional email), Anthropic (AI evaluation), and Vercel (hosting). Each processes only what is needed for its function.

Your public profile (name, certificates, calibration record) and certificate verification pages are visible to anyone with the link — that is what makes your credentials verifiable. Everything else is private to you.

TopLine Academy is built for high school students. We collect only the minimum information needed to operate the platform, and we do not use student data for advertising or profiling. Users must be at least 13 years old. If you are a parent or guardian and want your child’s data reviewed or deleted, contact us and we will act promptly.

For classroom or school use, teachers and administrators can contact us about data-handling agreements.

You can request a copy of your data or full deletion of your account and everything associated with it at any time by emailing us. Deletion is permanent and includes your progress, decisions, and certificates.
