Co-branding puts your name on someone else's product — or their name on yours. When it works, both brands amplify each other. When it fails, the weaker execution contaminates the stronger brand. The key variable is almost never the licensing fee: it is who controls the thing the customer actually touches. A premium brand survives one bad campaign; it does not survive a thousand bad product experiences filed under its name.
